Go Gaelic’s association with the South Eastern Education and Library Board was highlighted in this feature on RTE Radio’s Today with Pat Kenny show recently.

Every summer for the past few years, young people from Northern Ireland have been brought by the South Eastern Education and Library Board, on visits to County Clare. Some of them come from opposing traditions in Northern Ireland, and together they use their time in Clare to explore contentious issues relating to divisions and conflict in the North.

This week, Brian O’Connell joined a group of children from the mainly Loyalist/ protestant Newtownards Road as they learned the basics of GAA culture and examined issues surrounding Orange Order Parades.
